Appointments: AB 1457 Discussion/possible action on the appointment of a Wastewater Hearing Officer.
Summary of Current Events a. In addition to any current events presented by the Council, the City Manager will give a status report to the Council on the dome collapse during construction of the Posse Grounds Pavilion. The City Council will have a brief opportunity to ask general questions regarding this matter; however, no decisions or motions will be made at this time.
AB 1458 Discussion/possible direction regarding the makeup of a committee(s) to review the small grant and service contracts funding processes, and the procedure by which this group(s) will convene to develop recommendations for changes/improvements. The small grants are awarded to not for profit agencies doing community building, economic stimulation and arts & culture programs or projects. The contracts fund services the City does not provide, but may otherwise have to, as well as other services that provide additional public benefit.
